Orchard Studios series will cover Lineker’s life on and off the pitch

Prime Video has announced a four-part docuseries on the life and career of Gary Lineker.
With a working title of Lineker, the series is being produced by Orchard Studios and filming is currently underway. Nat Lippiett and Dan Grabiner are executive producing the project, and it will launch on the streaming platform in 2027.
Lineker will examine the footballer-turned-broadcaster’s life and career with archive and unseen personal material, from his childhood in Leicester to emerging as a footballing superstar, before becoming a renowned broadcaster, entrepreneur, podcaster and more. Lineker himself will give insights and reflections, as well as family members, fellow footballers, friends and critics.
Lippiet said: “Everyone has their own Gary Lineker. The World Cup hero, the Match of the Day presenter, the activist or even the face of crisps – for decades he has been at the centre of the national conversation.”
Grabiner added: : “This series goes beyond the headlines to reveal the many sides of one of Britain’s most recognisable and divisive figures, with candid insight from Gary himself and those closest to both his triumphs and controversies.”
