17 regular-season games, the WNBA All-Star Game, and a range of Playoff and Finals games will be broadcast to UK viewers.

Sky Sports has revealed it will broadcast the WNBA’s 25th season to fans in the UK. 

Starting at midnight tonight, the broadcaster will be showing 17 regular season games, the WNBA All-Star Game, as well as Playoff and Finals games - with at least one game per week on its channels. In addition, a selection of matches will be on the Sky Sports YouTube channel to reach a wider audience.

More free-to-air coverage is provided by 12 regular season games being live streamed on Twitter by the @WNBA account. The matches will feature in game commentary from basketball insiders, influencers and WNBA legends.

The first weekend features all 12 teams, with supporters able to tune in to Sky Sports Arena and Sky Sports Mix from 6pm Saturday to see two-time league MVP Candace Parker make her debut with the Chicago Sky at Washington against former MVP Elena Delle Donne and the Mystics.

The WNBA recently launched its Count It social justice campaign for its 25th season, which aims to show that the WNBA is not done “counting” achievements because there are many more to come as WNBA players continue to excel and defy expectations.
