This week, Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) is to release all three episodes of its original docuseries chronicling Defender Rally’s quest to conquer the Dakar Rally.

Defender Rally’s Sara Price, who won 17 national motorcross championships before switching to four-wheel racing, is the central protagonist alongside teammates Stéphane Peterhansel and Rokas Baciuška.

Their story is told in three 45-minute episodes offering behind-the-scenes access at the toughest test in off-road motorsport.

The full series brings together unseen footage from Defender Rally with exclusive interviews, fresh perspectives and race action to complete the story of their Dakar Rally attempt.    

Narrated by Emmy-winning actress, author and activist Gillian Anderson OBE, the series will be available to millions of motorsport fans across Europe, Asia, USA and Latin America via WBD’s channels and platforms.

Sara Price said: “Being part of this documentary has given me the chance reflect on my journey to Defender Rally and my third Dakar entry. Motorsport has shaped my life in ways I’m still discovering, with the highs, the lows, the people who believed in me, and the lessons that I learnt the hard way. Sharing my story so openly is both humbling and motivating. I have sacrificed so much on my quest to win Dakar, which has made me push through the hard times and grateful for the good times. My hope is that viewers see not only the toughness of the Dakar Rally, but the resilience of the people behind it, and maybe even feel inspired to chase something they love with the same determination.”
