The league’s YouTube channel will show games in territories without rights deals
The WSL has added 13 new international broadcasters for the 2025/26 season.
The campaign gets underway this weekend, and the new broadcasters include Stan Sport in Australia, Migu, Hayu and iQiyi in China, Dubai TV in MENA, beIN Sports in Southeast Asia and Movistar in Spain. These deals were facilitated by IMG, which has been named as the WSL Football’s exclusive international media rights representative in a multi-year deal.
The league’s YouTube channel, which is operated by Little Dot, will stream matches from the WSL and second tier WSL2 in territories where there isn’t an official broadcaster. It will also show games not selected for broadcast in territories with a broadcaster.
According to YouGov, the 2024/25 season acheived a global audience of 72.1 million, with 74% of that coming from outide the UK.
Sky Sports and the BBC are the UK broadcasters of the WSL, with Sky Sports’ production plans recently revealed here, and the BBC’s here.
