Channel 4 documentaries Virgin Soldiers - made by film-maker Dodge Billingsley - and Dying for Drugs, an investigation into the global pharmaceutical industry, have been sold to broadcasters in France. France 2 pre-purchased Billingsley's 60-minute current affairs documentary, made by Ideal World Productions and Combat Films, about American frontline troops in Iraq. Truevision's 60-minute Dying for Drugs has been sold to Canal Plus. Meanwhile, French/German cultural channel Arte has picked up the 60-minute C4 current affairs documentaries Russian Siege (Mentorn) and Child Sex Traffickers (Hardcash Productions). French public broadcaster France 3 has acquired 90-minute Soldat (First Circle Films).
