The police investigation into the death of a boy whose torso was discovered in the river Thames last year is to be made into a 60-minute documentary by indie 3BM for Channel 4, writes Paul Revoir
The boy, whom police have named Adam, was believed to have been the victim of a ritual killing and the programme-makers have gained inside access to the detectives on the case.Working titled Adam's Story, the piece was ordered by deputy commissioning editor for science and education Alex Sutherland. It is directed by Daniel Korn and Evy Barry and executive produced by Simon Berthon.Meanwhile, C4 commissioning editor for science and education Simon Andreae has commissioned Oscar winner Jon Blair and ITN Factual to make a documentary exploring whether the September 11 attacks were an American conspiracy.It will be executive produced by Julian Ware.
