Channel 5 has ordered Hen Nights, a five part reality doc series from True North Productions.

The Northern & Shell-owned broadcaster will look at the trade, which along with stag parties is worth around £5bn to the UK economy, in a 5 x 60-minute series.

The True North series will follow different hen parties in Newcastle, Blackpool, Cardiff and Brighton to witness what takes place on brides’ final nights of freedom.

It will be produced in association with GroupM Entertainment with Tony Moulsdale and Melanie Darlaston exec producing.
