Channel 5 has ordered three documentaries about Moors murderer Myra Hindley from Nine Lives Media.

The Northern & Shell-owned broadcaster has commissioned The Brady Factor, The One That Got Away and The Lost Body to air later this year.

The Brady Factor will focus on the events that led to her meeting Ian Brady and the start of their relationship, with access to Myra’s unpublished autobiography.

The One That Got Away will tell the stories of the five children that they killed and the accounts of those that got away including David Smith, who who was being groomed as Ian’s next acolyte as Ian and Myra debated killing him.

Lastly, The Lost Body will look at the case of Keith Bennetts, whose body was never found as well as focusing on Hindley’s relentless campaign to shift public opinion and win release.

The series will be exec produced by Nine Lives’ Cat Lewis and was commissioned directly by director of programmes Ben Frow.

2 July at Bafta.
