Channel 5 has picked up a doc series in which large, dangerous animals are transported around the world.
Animal Mega Moves was originally made by Windfall Films for National Geographic Channels International and Nat Geo Wild.
The 4 x 60-minute doc series follows teams of specialist animal movers and vets as they attempt to relocate a variety of beasts across the glove.
Using CGI animation to help portray the engineering and anatomical challenges faced by the teams, the series including airlifting elephants across the African plains using helicopters or transporting live sharks on a jumbo jet.
Series producer is Carlo Massarella and executive producer is David Dugan.
The series is a spin-off of Windfall’s Monster Moves, now in production for a fifth series for the broadcaster.
