Two “godfathers of Italian cooking” are fronting a new series for BBC2, made by Jamie Oliver’s indie.

Two Greedy Italians will feature Antonio Carluccio and Gennaro Contaldo and will look at how the country’s cuisine has changed.

Alison Kirkham has commissioned Fresh One to produce the 4 x 60-minute series, which has been scheduled for this spring/summer.

Executive producers are Zoe Collins (Fresh One) and Sam Anthony (BBC).
