Celador Productions is reformatting its ITV 1 Britain's Brainiest Kidshow into a new adult series, which will attempt to test the brainpower of people from various walks of life.

A 6 or 7 x 60-minute run, each episode of which will feature people from a specific occupation including modelling, hairdressing and teaching, has been ordered by ITV controller of entertainment Claudia Rosencrantz.

The series is due to air next year and will be presented by Carol Vorderman. Martin Scott is producing with Colman Hutchison as executive producer.
