LWT's new managing director Lindsay Charlton has revamped the broadcaster's weekend schedule. In a move to provide more late Friday night London entertainment for young people, from 13 October a new adult version of existing show Big Screen will go out: Big Screen X Certificate. The new version of the show will take a look at the cinema industry and will air at 23.30 followed by arts and listings programme Nightlife at midnight. Charlton is also attempting to increase Sunday afternoon viewing with films, including Remains of the Day, The Thomas Crown Affair, The Glen Miller Story and Driving Miss Daisy. The films will be followed by a 20-minute edition of London Tonight at 18.00, increased from its original five-minute slot.

Crimefighters Casebook will follow, moving from its regular Friday night slot.
