French interactive agency plans January launch for UK division of internet production arm RichProd
Award-winning French interactive entertainment outfit ClicVision is to set a UK division in January as part of its European expansion plan, writes David Wood.

Already established in Paris and Berlin, chairman Henri Mojon has said that he will roll out the company's production arm, RichProd, in London, Rome and Madrid in the New Year to produce tailor-made content for the internet.

ClicVision, 75 per cent owned by Mojon, managing director Francois Lienart and programme director Claude Armand Decastiaux, already produces a web TV entertainment service in French, German and English with five major themed areas including a games and a kids section.

ClicVision aims to operate both as a business to consumer web TV service ClicVision.com, for which it is currently seeking carriage agreements with portals, and a business to business production entity. It also aims to roll out a broadband ADSL service when costs come down.

Mojon said: 'We are looking for a managing director and will recruit a five strong team covering graphics, audio-visual, online, development and production.'

'We want new talent that can produce fast and we believe there is a lot of talent in London. Every day we produce five new three minute programmes at a cost per minute of£150.'
