IBC 2016: Copa90 has partnered with sports publisher Bleacher Report to launch a football channel on SnapChat.
The show, which launches this week, will be distributed weekly via Bleacher Report’s Snapchat Discover channel.
Available globally outside of the US and Canada, the show will Feature football-themed original skits, preview discussions and interviews.
James Kirkham, head of Copa90, said Snapchat was a “powerful vehicle” to connect with sports fans.
He said: “We want to give this generation of football fans a show that resonates with them and with contemporary viewing habits.
“Young fans crave this type of content, delivered to them in a way that is native to them, and through a means that allows them to express their excitement.”
Bleacher Report was among the first wave of publishers to launch on Snapchat Discover in 2015.
It has a global audience of over 200m visitors across Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Vine, with 80% under the age of 34.
