Entertainment Rights has appointed Andrew Kerr to the newly created position of executive director, consumer products and marketing, international.

Reporting to chief commercial and creative director Jane Smith, Kerr will be responsible for developing and overseeing the group's commercial strategy for its brands across the UK and internationally, and will work closely with US senior management to implement a global brand strategy.

He joins ER from Ragdoll Worldwide, where he was executive VP, global licensing and marketing and a member of the Ragdoll board of directors.
