Six Welsh TV companies have been awarded a cash boost of almost #500,000 from the European Union Media Plus programme to develop new programming and distribute existing productions. Recipients include Opus Television, which was given #38,000 to develop documentary ideas and Agenda Television which was awarded #80,000 to distribute its series Gold - the History of an Obsession. Other awards went to Cambrensis Communications, Fairwater Films, B-Dag and Salem Films.
