Soho’s Eyeframe has taken on the Picture Production Company’s DVD department and plans to merge the staff and kit with its own new media facility services.

Five PPC DVD staff will join Eyeframe in Poland Street, taking its total headcount to 25. DVD suite equipment is also included in the deal.

Jo Harris, who heads up PPC DVD, will join at a ‘senior level’ and the merger will kick off a concerted recruitment drive by Eyeframe.

Managing director Julie Redmond said. “PPC DVD has a strong reputation for its creative output across different
media, which will allow Eyeframe to expand its creative services across Blu-ray, DVD, design and digital delivery”.

PPC said that the divestiture had been made to allow it to concentrate on its core activities of entertainment brand marketing and feature film trailers.

Eyeframe expects to keep current PPC DVD clients including ITV and Momentum Pictures.
