Fairlight European operations director Ken Barnsley passed away last week.

Barnsley led sales and marketing teams at companies in the music, broadcast, film and post production markets, including Avid UK, AMS-Neve, Solid State Logic and Amek over the past 25 years.

Fairlight general manager Tino Fibek said: “Ken has always been a dedicated employee and friend. He worked right up until his hospitalisation a month ago, demonstrating his commitment and passion for the industry. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of working with him.”

Ken’s funeral will take place at 12.40 on Friday 6 May at the Manchester Crematorium, Barlow Moor Road, Chorlton cum Hardy.

Instead of sending flowers, those who would like to make a gesture have been asked to donate to The Gambia Horse and Donkey Trust, a charity supported by Ken and his partner.
