The Celebrity Traitors

The BBC has unveiled its own seven-day ratings figures for The Celebrity Traitors series two, revealing that the launch episode entertained 15.7m viewers. The BBC’s figures are slightly inflated compared to previously reported Barb figures (14m) because the corporation counts viewing across all devices including repeat viewing, whereas Barb only counts first-time views. The corporation revealed that the seven-day figure has already surpassed the 28-day figure for The Celebrity Traitors series one opener (14.8m), making it the biggest Traitors launch yet across both celebrity and non-celebrity versions. The broadcaster also suggests it was the biggest launch episode of any scripted or unscripted series across the market  since 2022. According to the BBC, 58% of launch viewing came through iPlayer (8.9m) with a fifth of viewers (3.1m) aged 16-34. This is the biggest volume of younger audiences to date.
