RDF Media managing director David Frank this week ruled himself out of the race for the Five chief executive job, writes Penny Hughes.Frank told Broadcast that headhunter Leonard Hull had approached him two months ago about the vacancy. However, he told Five's majority shareholder RTL Group that he was not interested in the job.The shortlist for former Five chief executive Dawn Airey's replacement is believed to include Malcolm Wall, chief operating officer of Five minority shareholder United Business Media (UBM), head of RTL TV in Germany Gerhard Zeiler, Endemol UK chairman Peter Bazalgette, Flextech chief executive Jane Lighting and Five acting chief executive Nick Milligan.
