Jamie Oliver is heading to Germany and Austria after FremantleMedia International closed a raft of sales deals.

The international distributor has sold Oliver’s 40 x 30-minute series Jamie’s 15 Minute Meals and one-off doc Jamie Cooks Summer to German commercial broadcaster Sixx. The channel, which is owned by ProSiebenSat.1 has also taken digital rights to the series for its Maxdome VoD service.

The group has also bought the fifth season of Merlin and 6 x 60-minute drama Hit and Miss, starring Chloë Sevigny for Maxdome.

Separately, rival German broadcaster Super RTL has bought TV rights to Merlin series five and RTL Crime has bought Hit and Miss.

Meanwhile, Jamie Oliver series including 3 x 30-minute series Jamie’s Feastival and Jamie’s 15 Minute Meals have been sold to ORF in Austria, while pay channel RTL Living has bought Jamie’s 15 Minute Meals and Jamie’s Food Fight Club.
