This week, National Geographic’s Einstein drama reached the seventh episode of its 10-week run, while Dave’s Taskmaster continued to be a bit of a Tuesday boon.

Nat Geo’s Genius fell to a series low of 22,400/0.1% for its seventh episode on Sunday at 9pm. Like many shows, it was deflated by the weight of the concert in Manchester on BBC1. Its best overnight remains 52,100/0.3% for the third episode on 7 May.

The sixth episode of the fourth series of Taskmaster drew 504,000/2% at 9pm on Tuesday, its third highest of a run averaging 492,000/3% in overnights.

On Saturday night, as news from London Bridge broke, Sky News At 11 averaged 1 million/9%, up from 149,000/2% last week. For two-and-a-half hours, Sky News averaged 810,000/10%, compared with 100,000/2% last week.

Its coverage of May v Corbyn Live: The Battle For Number 10, also shown on Channel 4 on Monday at 8.30pm, was watched by 415,000/2%.

On Friday, Sky 1’s Jamestown (245,000/1%) fell to its lowest overnight so far, behind Drama’s Life On Mars (265,000/1%) opposite, but ahead of Fox’s NCIS (234,000/1%).
