GMTV has reshuffled its New York bureau by appointing Cordelia Kretzschmar as its new correspondent in the city.
GMTV has reshuffled its New York bureau by appointing Cordelia Kretzschmar as its new correspondent in the city.

Kretzschmar, a former BBC London reporter who joined GMTV in March 2003 and covered the war in Iraq for the ITV service, replaces Rachel Harrison, who is return to GMTV in London to take up a new position.

She will be joined by Katie Myler who becomes news editor in New York, replacing Harrison's producer Siobhan O'Gorman, who is returning to Ireland as series editor for RTE.

Myler will take up her role in September, relocating from London in where she currently new edits. Kretzscmar will follow her out in November.

Meanwhile GMTV has made Caroline Sigley head of daily planning while Mat Mackay has been promoted to senior producer. Lucy Van Den Brul will return to the fray as news editor, following maternity leave, while Andy Hayes has also been made news editor.
