Granada's Sherlock Holmes sold to BBC2
Granada has sold its classic crime series The Adventures of Sherlock Homes to BBC2. The 13 x 52-minute first series, which made Jeremy Brett a household name, will air on BBC2 later this year after originally airing on ITV in 1984.
