Horse and Country TV (H&CTV) is set to launch a branded online channel with video and photo social networking site Sevenload.
H&CTV will showcase editorially selected content on the Sevenload site along with pre-roll advertising. Based in Cologne, Sevenload markets itself as a place to watch online TV, while enabling viewers to interact with the content.
The agreement was reached in a bid to provide for the growing online community of H&C TV, and it anticipates an audience in the region of 20 million users a month worldwide.
H&CTV said the project would help it reach niche target groups with advertising messages, thanks to Sevenload’s international reach which extends to 22 country portals in 12 languages.
The broadcaster has also signed a deal with online advertising giants Web TV Enterprise to provide pre-roll ads on the H&CTV website.
H&CTV chairman Heather Killen said: “Partnering with both Sevenload and Web TV Enterprise is a timely move to extend our leading position in key overseas territories where interest levels in horse sport are high and growing”
