The sports division of IMG Worldwide is looking for graduate recruits to join its newly created year-long trainee programme.
IMG Sports Media produces coverage of rugby, tennis, cricket and the forthcoming Paralympics on Channel 4.
Three trainees will join the Advantage programme which offers a series of 12 month placements in the technical, editorial and management divisions.
The technical trainee will be based at Mediahouse, which has video and audio post production facilities. They will work on sports and factual programmes focussing on how technical services can create and deliver content.
The editorial trainee will work with the production teams to develop and secure commissions with research, filming and post production and delivery.
Meanwhile the management trainee will work with the production team looking at budgets, logistics, commercial issues and production management.
The scheme starts in January 2012 and the trainees will be based the London offices in Chiswick and given the opportunity to work in one of the company’s international offices for up to two weeks.
