The second series of the Bafta-nominated comedy 15 Storeys High starts on BBC3 early next year. Rushes Post Production's 3D department has been commissioned to do the titles, and director Mark Nunnely requested a sequence which would recreate the style of 1960s architectural drawings. So 3D artist Hayden Jones designed the look and modelled the buildings using a stylised white and grey colour scheme. Jones used Maya and Shake for the sequence, while Craig Travis animated the blocks of flats. The in-house BBC production, which is produced by Phil Bowker, is written by comedian Sean Lock, and tells the story of two very different young men sharing a flat in a council estate tower block in south London.
