Jazz FM is launching an internet audio service called ejazz.fm on 5 June.

Ejazz.fm will offer two streamed audio channels playing continuous down-tempo and up-tempo jazz. Subscribers will also be able to access Club Ejazz featuring artist interviews, live concert webcasts from jazz venues and specialist programmes. Jazz FM also announced last week that it will bid for the West Midlands regional radio licence. The licence was advertised by the Radio Authority at the beginning of May and the closing date for applications is 22 August.
