US TV presenter Jerry Springer is to appear on C5 talkshow The Wright Stuff to replace regular host Matthew Wright when he is away on holiday during the week beginning 10 June.

Series editor Johnny McCune is also in talks with Springer to be a regular panellist on the show one week a month from September. McCune said: 'His face fits C5 and it's a great format for him to be seen in a different light to the Jerry Springer Show.'

Other regular panellists include Lowri Turner and Kate Silverton. Springer has already presented Greed and Late Night with Jerry Springer for C5.
