Jowell vetoes call for investigation into licence fee rise


Media secretary Tessa Jowell has vetoed a fresh demand for Parliamentary watchdogs the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) and National Audit Office (NAO) to investigate whether the BBC's bid to raise the licence fee to£180 is justified.
