Little Britain is going mobile with full-length episodes of the hit BBC comedy being made available on phones.

The move comes as BBC Worldwide expands on a previous deal with mobile phone content provider Rok Player, enabling full-screen episodes of Little Britain as well as comedy League of Gentleman to be accessed on handsets.

Rok Player's offering already includes Red Dwarf and Dr Who, from a previous deal with BBC Worldwide. It also offers film content including Aardman's Wallace and Gromit and Creature Comforts.

The co-branded Digital Video Chips (DVC) of Little Britain and League of Gentleman will go on sale priced at£17 at mobile phone shops.

BBC Worldwide business development manager Marc Humphrey said: "BBC Worldwide is always looking for new opportunities, both in the UK and abroad, that allow consumers to enjoy their favourite TV content again and again, while delivering additional revenues to the BBC and to the talent behind the classic programming."
