Merlin spellbinds 6.6m
BBC1's new family-friendly drama Merlin worked its magic over 6.6m viewers (30% share) on Saturday night but was no match for ITV1's The X Factor. Earlier, at 5.40pm, the corporation's Hole in the Wall entertained 3.3m (24.9%).
