ITV drama chief Nick Elliott appears not to have kissed and made up with the Royal Television Society after its decision to exclude Granada-produced crime corker Prime Suspect Six from the best series category at this year's programme awards. At this week's Granada bash to mark the coming together of the company with Carlton, Elliott was seen giving RTS chief Simon Albury a rather frosty reception over canapes. Elliott did concede to OTR that he had apologised over a spot of colourful language hurled down the phone to the RTS after he heard about the decision - but was still adamant it was a shambles. There's bound to be a scrap at the awards ceremony.
