Flextech has announced a new programming team structure which will see Bravo controller Matthew Paice take additional control of sister offering Trouble, writes Paul Revoir

Paice takes the dual role following the departure of Trouble channel editor Heather Jones, who is joining Paramount Comedy Channel. He will report to Flextech executive vice-president Lisa Opie and be supported by two programming editors.

Trouble programming executive Louise Benham is promoted to programming editor. She was acting channel editor during Jones' recent maternity leave. At the same time, Bravo programming executive David Clarke is promoted to programming editor. He has overseen recent commissions including Street Crime UK, Sin Cities 2 and Tasteful TV 2.

The changes come at an important time for Flextech. As well as pursuing a strategy of attracting more original commissions, the two channels are set to provide the bulk of content for the company's Freeview channel ftn, which launches next year.
