Paramount Comedy1 has picked up the second season of Rules of Engagement and third of Everybody Hates Chris.

The rights for both shows were owned by CBS Paramount International.

The 13 x 30-minute second series of Rules of Engagement stars David Spade and Oliver Hudson. It was created and exec produced by Tom Hertz of Spin City fame and was executive produced by Doug Robinson and Jack Giarraputo.

The series was produced by Happy Madison Productions and CBS Paramount Network Television in association with Sony Pictures Television.

The 22 x 30-minute third season of Everybody Hates Chris was executive produced by Rock, Ali LeRoi, Michael Rotenberg and Dave Becky.

The deal was concluded by Paramount Comedy director of programming and planning Matt Tombs and Stephen Tague for CBS Paramount International Television.

Rules of Engagement and Everybody Hates Chris will air on Paramount Comedy 1 during early 2008.
