The Portman Entertainment Group has launched a division called Portman Plus to specialise in music, comedy and 'cutting edge programming'. The division's programming slate includes Millennium Music, comprising three hours of performances from bands such as Westlife and Lionel Ritchie, as well as weekly global fashion magazine show Trend TV.

Other content will include properties from Portman Television such as Dark Knight and Urban Gothic, which is currently airing on Channel 5. Distribution will be handled by a combined team from Port-man International and Visual International under Portman chief executive Tim Buxton.
