Post-production house has filed a notice of intention to appoint administrators

Roundtable Post Production

Roundtable Post Production has ceased trading and appears set to appoint administrators.

Opus LLP has been reported as the company’s administrators, however, it told Broadcast Tech, “To clarify, Roundtable Post Production is not currently in administration. The company has ceased trading and has filed a Notice of Intention to Appoint Administrators but at this stage, no formal appointment has been made.

“Given the process is ongoing, it wouldn’t be appropriate to comment further at this time. Should there be a formal appointment, details will be made available in the usual way and Opus will be happy to comment as appropriate.”

This would be the latest of several administrations to hit the post-production industry. These include Halo and Evolutions entering administration late last year, as well as MPC and The Mill owner Technicolor earlier in 2025.

Roundtable has ceased trading after a winding up petition was filed by HMRC on 15 December.

Broadcast Tech understands that there is media still at Roundtable’s facility in Covent Garden, which productions have been unable to access. Roundtable has been approached for comment but is yet to reply.

Roundtable’s last accounts ran until 31 March 2025, and show that it had 11 employees through that year and owed over £500,000 to creditors. This was actually down from over £600,000 12 months before.
