NTL has said that its content deal with BSkyB remains unaffected by the cable giant's failure to finalise terms with the Premier League over pay-per-view football matches. An NTL statement released this week said: 'Our agreement with BSkyB will not be affected by the failure of these negotiations and we will continue to show Premier League games to our customers through existing distribution agreements.' NTL has just unveiled third quarter results with cable TV subscribers at 4.2 million, up 194 per cent compared to last year, with digital customers at 325,000.
