Taxi of Mum and Dad is an hour-long show for Channel 4 which will capture the conversations which take place inside family cars to shine a spotlight on the occupants’ relationships.

Taxi of Mum and Dad was commissioned by C4 education commissioning editor Emily Jones and will be executive produced by Princess’s Anna Blue and Will Spokes.

Jones said: “Taxi of Mum and Dad is a simple premise that captures those precious moments between teens and their parents when they’re not sure you’re looking.  It’s a warm funny parenting programme that says: you may not know what you’re doing, but neither do they.”

Princess Productions managing director Emma Hardy added that the show would explore “modern parenting and British family life”.
