Ben Goldhagen joins to lead division devoted to sport content for social media

Social media agency Coolr has launched a sport division, Coolr Sport.

Ben Goldhagen has joined to lead the new business unit as director of sport. Godlhagen has over 20 years’ experience in the sport industry, including time as VP of international marketing and partnerships at DAZN, as well as senior sports marketing director for Western Europe at Adidas. 

Goldhagen began his career at WPP, and in addition to DAZN and Adidas, has managed the global football YouTube channel The F2 and consulted for brands such as Monster Energy, Cupra, Marks & Spencer, Celsius, and Sports Direct. He will report to Coolr CEO Adam Clyne. 

Coolr Sport aims to being a, social-first, fan-focused approach to sport, combining audience insight, creator partnerships and platform expertise to deliver culturally relevant content  that drives engagement and commercial impact. It will work with both existing Coolr clients and aim to build a new portfolio in the sport sector. Existing Coolr clients include the likes of Deliveroo, Burger King and Lidl GB.
