Blair Wood Infront

Infront Productions has appointed Blair Wood as its commercial director.

Wood joins the company as it looks to expand its production arm beyond competitions it also works on rights with. Infront Productions already works with the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF), International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS), European Handball Federation (EHF) and Badminton World Federation (BWF) and more onbroadcasting, digital content creation and studio production across more than 4,000 hours of live sport each year.

Other recent agreements include providing satellite downlinking, multi-lingual commentary services and SRT distribution for over 300 matches on the platform, including FIFA World Cup 2026 Qualification matches. It also provided comprehensive post-production and streaming services throughout the 2025 Wanda Diamond League season, including full event highlights, individual athlete clips and compilations across all 15 meets.

Wood joins Infront after over 12 years in senior production and business development roles with Input Media and then Gravity Media after the former’s acquisition. In his new role he will lead commercial growth strategy, developing new partnerships and exploring opportunities across sport, entertainment and live events.

Wood said: “It’s an exciting time for Infront Productions as we look to further invest in our services, technology and facilities. The scale and ambition of the business is impressive and there is a real appetite to innovate. I’m looking forward to helping shape that growth and ensuring we continue to set new standards in sports production.”

Uzi Kakuda, head of Infront Productions, added: “Blair has already made a strong impact through his consultancy work with us, bringing valuable industry insight and a proven track record in business development. His appointment underlines our commitment to growing the production business and enhancing the services we offer to clients worldwide.”
