The feature-length documentary follows McIlroy’s 2025 Masters victory, which completed his career Grand Slam, and will launch globally on 30 March

Prime Video is set to premiere its feature-length documentary, Rory McIlroy: The Masters Wait, on 30 March.
The film follows McIlroy in the 2025 Masters, as he completes the career Grand Slam.
The documentary will premiere exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.
Rory McIlroy: The Masters Wait captures the moment McIlroy won, and unpacks the pressure, failures, and determination that made his triumph so profound.
Built around the dramatic final round of the 2025 Masters and unfolding hole by hole, the film is a “cinematic battle between man and course, revealing why sport is never just sport, but myth played out in real-time,” says Prime Video.
Rory McIlroy: The Masters Wait is an Everyone Else production directed by Drea Cooper, in association with Firethorn Productions. The film is produced by Dan Lindsay, TJ Martin, Zoë Morrison, and Ben Piner. Cooper is also executive producer on the film.
