Platform Media adds former A League Of Their Own, Last Leg of the Paralympics, and Alan Carr: Chatty Man producer

Platform Media has appointed Chris Quinn as an executive producer for its sport slate.
Quinn will first lead on the content and growth of The Good, The Bad and The Football, hosted by Manchester United legends Paul Scholes and Nicky Butt alongside award-winning comedian Paddy McGuinness during the World Cup. Following the tournament, Quinn will look to grow Platform’s wider sports slate, which includes The Good, The Bad and The Rugby, The Wayne Rooney Show, and Joe Marler Will See You Now.
Platform has also recently signed former world champion boxer Tony Bellew, who works with content creator Charlie Parsons to host Fight Your Corner: a joint IP venture that has seen over nine million streams across long-form episodes and social media in the first four weeks.

Quinn has 14 years’ experience in production, including working as a producer on A League Of Their Own with CPL Productions, as well as Alan Carr: Chatty Man and The Last Leg of the Paralympics with Open Mike.
Quinn said: “What Platform has built in sport in a short space of time is genuinely impressive — the numbers, the talent, the IP. That tells you everything about the foundation here. The strategy here has no ceiling and I’m excited to push that as far as possible.
Conor Hewitt, head of sport at Platform Media, added: “We’re delighted to welcome Chris at such a pivotal point for Platform’s sports slate. The appetite from audiences, sponsors and talent has never been stronger. Chris joins with the experience to match that ambition and makes him a hugely valuable addition to the team.”
