Sky Sports has released a mockumentary following players as they prepare for the British & Irish Lions tour.
The film features Lions stars Tom Curry, Tadhg Beirne and Ollie Chessum. It also stars some of Sky Sports’ on-screen team for the Lions including Sam Warburton, Dan Biggar and Alex Payne. Social media star Paul Olima (aka “Rolling Thunder”) plays the stealth camera operator.
It was written by Black Shark Media and produced by Oranges & Lemons, and appears to offer fans an “unfiltered glimpse of camp life - from bedtime stories and skincare routines to players channelling their inner ‘Zoolander’ to perfect their on-screen headshots,” says Sky.
Along with the video, the release comes with a bonus blooper reel packed with outtakes, missed cues and “moments of questionable acting that didn’t quite make the final cut.”
