The jury also includes an Olympic medallist, a world handball champion, a creative director and a sports photographer among its seven members

Sportel has announced that Brazilian footballer Sonny Anderson will chair the Sportel Awards 2026 Jury.
He will be joined by six others from sport, the creative industries, photography and the Olympic movement.
The Sportel Awards’ Golden Podiums honour directors and producers for the year’s best sporting sequences, while the Renaud de Laborderie Book Prize recognises a landmark publication dedicated to sport.
Alongside Anderson, the jury includes Kilian Bron, Enduro/Freeride MTB rider and filmmaker; Siraba Dembélé-Pavlovic, World and European handball champion and Olympic silver medallist; Georges Mohammed-Chérif, president and chief creative officer of Buzzman; Nicolas Nkoulou, Cameroonian international footballer and Champion for Peace with Peace and Sport; Lisa Pou, bronze medallist in the 10km at the 2025 World Championships and Monegasque athlete; and Catherine Steenkeste, sports photographer and 2024 UJSF award recipient.
The winners of the Sportel Awards 2026 will be announced at a ceremony on 19 October 2026 at the Grimaldi Forum Monaco.
