Production company will create daily and custom video news releases, international language content and animations

Ocean Race Europe Sunset+Vine

Sunset+Vine is producing news content for the ongoing Ocean Race Europe.

Setting off from Kiel, Germany, on 10 August, sees seven teams from Germany, Switzerland, France, Canada, Italy and Saudi Arabia racing around the continent with stops in the UK, Portugal, Spain, France, Italy and finishing in Boka Bay, Montenegro six weeks later. Each boat includes an on-board reporter in addition to four sailors.

The Sunset+Vine TV News team is providing news production and distribution services to the race from its London hub, with distribution teams in Germany, Spain, Italy and France. Content includes daily and custom video news releases, specific news stories and international-language content – coupled with animations showing the evolution of the race.

Sunset+Vine head of news, Sabina Mollart Rogerson, said: “These grand prix racing machines rattle along at motorway speeds giving their international crews a battering as they race night and day across the crowded waterways of Europe. It’s a great story and one that we can shape in a compelling way for our international news networks with our custom story-telling team and our Europe-based team of distribution experts.”

Sarsfield Brolly, head of media partnerships at Sunset+Vine, added: “We are delighted to be back on board with The Ocean Race team for The Ocean Race Europe to take the story to our global networks and to provide increased eyeballs, awareness and media value. This is the pinnacle of the sport of ocean racing and to continue our collaboration is highly-prized by our team.”
