Sunset+Vine is to produce the world feed and deliver host broadcast coverage for the 2026 ISU European Figure Skating Championships on behalf of British Ice Skating.

The championship returns to the UK for the first time in over a decade, bringing together Europe’s elite figure skaters for five days of competition.

160 athletes from 35 countries will take part across four disciplines – men’s, women’s, pairs, and ice dance.

The 2026 ISU European Figure Skating Championships is the penultimate major figure skating event before the Milan–Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games.

Sunset+Vine’s camera plan includes jib and super slo-mo cameras positioned to capture not only every technical element on the ice but also the atmosphere and emotion off it – from backstage warm-ups to score reveals, leader changes, and behind-the-scenes moments.

“We’ve loved being a part of the skating world for the past 12 months together with the ISU, so we’re delighted to have been entrusted with providing the coverage of this flagship figure skating Championship by British Ice Skating. We’ll bring the athleticism, artistry, and raw drama of the sport to the screen with our usual world-class production values” said Peter Angell, Sunset+Vine CEO.

“We’re delighted to appoint Sunset+Vine as host broadcaster for the ISU Figure Skating European Championships 2026 in Sheffield. With this event returning to the UK for the first time in over a decade and serving as a pivotal moment on the road to Milan–Cortina 2026 and beyond for British Ice Skating, it’s essential that we deliver world-class coverage that captures both the technical brilliance and the emotion of the sport. Sunset+Vine’s expertise and creative approach will help us bring the full scale, atmosphere, and artistry of these Championships to audiences across Europe and beyond,” adds David Hartley, event director, British Ice Skating.
