Hammers player Malick Diouf reveals how he spends the month of Ramadan as a footballer
West Ham United has released An Athlete During Ramadan, a short video starring player Malick Diouf.
In the video, published on West Ham’s YouTube channel, Diouf speaks about the importance of his faith, how he observes Ramadan, the challenges of fasting as an elite footballer and reflects on how West Ham United supported him throughout the month.
The Senegal international also touches on previous experiences he’s had at other clubs and outlines how he managed his own diet and exercise during the month so he could continue playing in the Premier League.
