Teletubbies indie Ragdoll has unveiled its latest series, Blurrfect, to launch on CiTV in the autumn.

Aimed at five to six-year-olds, the 26 x 10-minute show is a live-action comedy that takes place in two different worlds - the precise Perfect World and the chaotic Blurrfect World.

The format allows kids to anticipate what form the mayhem will take through computer generated "Blurrps" - bubbles that bounce onto the screen disrupting Mr Perfect's world.

Production starts soon on the show which will be directed by Tom Poole and produced by Chris Wood. The series was commissioned by the editor of CiTV, Estelle Hughes.

"This is an extremely exciting project for my entire team, with children steering the action," said Anne Wood, founder and creative director of Ragdoll.
