Saddam's capture brings 6.8m to BBC1
BBC1 managed to secure 6.8 million viewers during their 17.15 and 22.15 editions of the news on Sunday (14 December) that featured the capture of the Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein attracting a share of 35.6% and 30.7% respectively.
